Transition: Good bye Egypt. Hello Marrakech !
Yes, lugging bags, packing, unpacking, sitting in airports, dealing with customs, more lifting, lugging and fatigue is all part of the game. But the reward is so worth all this discomfort!! Met another tired traveler, my friend Linda coming in from LA through the strike and hassle at Heathrow. We both recovered in a hotel, Le Meridian, near the small Marrakech Airport. Had typical Moroccan food and slept like a bear in hibernation. Waking up to lush gardens, singing birds and warm sun. Off to Peacock Pavillion today and the promise of time with Page. I can't wait to give her a hug!!!
Update: Yes we did recover Suzi's bag at the Cairo airport. If you ever fly to Egypt and need a hotel near the airport I highly recommend the Le Meridian. It is a short walk through the airport, over an indoor bridge to a fantastic room, restaurants and great hospitality!!

Morning in Marrakech, Le Meridian

| Le Meridian |
| Tajine vegetables with couscous |
| Tajine chicken |
| Marrakech, a bit dryer than Casablanca |
| My little plane to Marrakech, yikes!! |
| Found Quiche in the Casablanca Airport. Seems the French left their food and language here in Morocco |
| Casablanca much greener than places I've been in Egypt |
| It took over 5 hours to fly from Cairo to Casablanca. Africa is a big country. I had tree seats to myself, old movies in English, and tea. |
| It's been a week of Ramadan where many fast from Sun up to sundown. |
